Mixing Sequence and Principles of Plant Protection Drone Pesticide Application

During the operation of plant protection drone, or the aim of reducing application frequency and enhancing effect, there are usually two or more pesticides and leaf fertilizer mixed in aerial crop protection.

Combined use of pesticides has many benefits but don't mix it at random. Unreasonable mixing is not only useless but effects instead. Please pay attention to the following for pesticide mixing of plant protection drone.

1. Mixing sequence

  • The mixing sequence of pesticides should be accurate. Principally, no more than three pesticides should be mixed and reduce wettable powder to avoid blocking the spray nozzle of plant protection drone.

  • Add water first and then pesticide. It's recommended to add some water into the dispensing barrel first and mix well after adding the first pesticide for secondary dilution and mixing. The remaining pesticides are then diluted in other containers, poured into the dispensing tank, mixed, and so on.

  • Note that "suitable for use now, not for a long time". Though the liquid does not react at the time of initial preparation, it does not mean that it can be placed for a long time at will. In order to improve the efficiency of UAVs, pesticides should be prepared in advance.

2. Mixing Principles

  • The combination of pesticides with different effects can improve control efficiency and delay the development of drug resistance.

  • The mixing of pesticides with different toxic and killing effects can supplement each other with good prevention and control efficiency.

  • The combination of insecticides for different insects can kill all kinds of insects in the field, raising control efficiency.

  • The mixed pesticides with different time limits are not only effective after application, but also can play a long-term control role.

  • Synergistic agent mixed with pesticide can improve control efficiency.

  • The combination of pesticides acting on different diseases and insect pests can reduce the frequency of spraying and reduce the working time, thus improving the efficacy.
