How to Spray Foliar Fertilizer with Plant Protection Drone?

1. The time of spraying foliar fertilizer by fertilizer spraying drone shall be appropriate.


In order to prolong the time for leaf surface wetted by fertilizer solution and facilitate the absorption of nutrient elements by crops, the spraying time of fertilizer spraying drone is best selected in a sunny and windless evening. This can delay the air drying speed of the leaf surface which is conducive to the penetration of ions into the leaf. Spray evenly, so that the front of the blade can be completely wet. In case of heavy rain after spraying foliar fertilizer, it shall be sprayed again.


2. The concentration of foliar fertilizer sprayed by drone for fertilizer spraying should be appropriate.


Foliar fertilizer is sprayed directly on the foliar surface through the fertilizer spraying drone. The absorption of fertilizer by crops has little buffer. Therefore, we must grasp the spraying concentration of leaf fertilizer. If the concentration is too low, the amount of nutrient elements absorbed by crops is small, the use effect will not be obvious; If the concentration is too high, it will often burn the leaves and cause fertilizer damage. The spraying concentration of the same foliar fertilizer is also different on different crops.


3. The acidity of foliar fertilizer sprayed by drone for fertilizer spraying should be appropriate.


Nutrient elements will show different states under different pH. In order to maximize the benefit of fertilizer, it must be in the appropriate acid-base range. Generally, the pH value is required to be between 5 and 8. If the pH value is too high or too low, it will not only affect the absorption of nutrient elements, but also harm crops.


4. When spraying fertilizer by fertilizer spraying drone, additives shall be added appropriately.


When plant protection UAV is used to spray foliar fertilizer, properly adding additives can improve the adhesion of fertilizer solution on plant leaves and promote the absorption of fertilizer.
