Drone Battery: Lithium Battery Technology Can Send Drone to 20,000 Meters High

At present, the innovation of the diy drone battery field has entered a state that is just like squeezing toothpaste out of the tube, take the silicon composite material lithium ion battery as an example, the capacity of general ones is 700Wh/L, 300Wh/kg is the largest capacity. Battery is not just battery itself, it is a foundation of the electronics industry, and the battery bottleneck has become the bottleneck of the whole electronics industry.

How to solve this problem? It is clear that the previous lithium ion material cannot be used anymore, it should be replaced with a new kind of material. Lithium is the lightest metal in the periodic table of elements, if we use lithium to produce battery, the battery can be light, small and has larger energy density. According to the study, each per gram of graphite negative electrode can only store only 380mAh of lithium, each per gram of silicon and graphite mixed negative electrode can store about 700mAh of lithium, but leach per gram of lithium negative electrode can store 3800mAh of lithium. Therefore, mental lithium is the most ideal electrode material for lithium ion batteries.

In fact, people have realized it for a long time, the study of lithium mental batteries can be traced back to 1980. However, lithium is a kind of highly active metal, it is not very safe to use it and emergencies like combustion and explosion often occur when lithium battery is charged. While people turned their attention to lithium ion batteries, researchers did not give up the study of lithium mental batteries. In 2011, people used solid electrolytes instead of liquid electrolytes to solve the problem of the safety of lithium metal batteries. It is understood that solid electrolytes include polymer electrolytes and ceramic electrolytes, as they are non flammable and nonvolatile, they are more safe than organic carbonate liquid electrolytes.
